Looking
for a new game or activity for your upcoming bar or
bat mitzvah party? How about something to keep the
kids busy at your next Baptism or 1st Holy Communion
Party?
Some of the following games are very traditional and
some are extremely unique. Some are very simple, geared
toward an age-specific crowd, while others are extremely
difficult and challenging, but very exciting and intriguing
nonetheless.
Please
feel free to contact us if you would like a full explanation
of a particular game, or have ideas of your own. We
would love to hear from you! |
| Huggy
Bear |
Everyone
starts dancing. When music stops, the emcee calls
out a number, and everyone must get in groups of that
number. Becomes creative when: everyone in group must
wear one shoe, have one person in group with braces,
etc. |
Scavenger |
Your
Signature MC will call out miscellaneous items that
each child must go out into the crowd or facility
and find, and return to the dance floor. The first
one to return with item wins that round. |
Hula
Hoop
|
Have
you “hooped” lately? Variations can be
done (ie-several hoops at once) |
"Coke/Pepsi" |
Each
team consists of 2 players, at opposite sides of dance
floor, facing each other. “Coke” or “Pepsi”
is called, and one member of team runs to other and
sits on partner’s knee. Many variations of this
game are played and instructed by your Signature MC. |
Mummy
Wrap
|
Usually
a fun diversion for the guest of honor. This can be
a competition to include several teams. The rules are—there
are no rules. How creative can you and your team get? |
LipSync
Competition
|
Can
be individual or team-play. You choose the song or artist,
your group, and we’ll handle the rest! |
Basketball
Shooting Contest |
Foul
shots or long-distance. (Note: please make sure we have
permission from your facility or synagogue) |
Musical
Chairs Contest |
Always
a classic at any type of party. By the way, have you
ever seen your parents and other adults do this game?
We have. |
Bubble-Gum
Blowing Contest |
The
only question here is: regular or sugarless? Not ideal
with large groups of kids with braces. |
Limbo |
“…let’s
limbo some more.” How low can you go? |
Once
again, there are dozens of other games and activities
we can incorporate into your bar/bat mitzvah party,
record hop, 1st holy communion/baptism party, etc.
Signature
DJ’s will interact with your crowd, and play
age-appropriate games depending on the type of event
it is. In addition, party props and items are handed
out to your guests, and prizes are typically awarded
to the winning participant or team of the various
games we play.
